The Cove Bar might be leaving along with Paradise Pier, but when Pixar Pier is complete guests will have the chance to grab food and drinks at a new seaside hotspot: Lamplight Lounge.
Inspired by the famous Pixar lamp, Lamplight Lounge will offer California gastro-pub food and signature cocktails. There will be both indoor and outdoor seating, leaving guests with a view of World of Color.
Lamplight Lounge has a backstory of being an old warehouse factory with steel structural elements and concrete showing through the exterior. However, the restored restaurant will also celebrate the creativity, inspirations and personalities of storytellers who helped bring Pixar stories to life.
Decor inside the lounge will feature concept art from Pixar films, both in the form of paints and wall art… and also on restaurant items like napkins and cups.
Before Lamplight Lounge takes over the pier, Paradise Pier’s Cove bar will return from March 16 through the end of May to say its final goodbye.
Whether you make it to Cove Bar before it closes or not, don’t worry– Lamplight Lounge will continue to serve the fan-favorite lobster nachos.
Lamplight Lounge will open with the rest of Pixar Pier on June 23.
